I think that this is what upsets me the most, that loss of control and that loss of self and that moment where the people who are suppose to love you and are suppose to be taking care of you are actually the ones who are completely destroying you. I think that those of us who have been hurt, know those who have been hurt. It is so important for us to make it OK for other victims to come forward, to not fear the stigmas that come with these crimes, to be able to say that this is something that happened to me, this is not who I am, and it isn’t my fault.
